4 More Days?! Really?!

It's amazing how quickly things are coming together at the new store! This is an exciting week! I'll be sharing pics of the new inventory coming into the store. Local artist Belladue set her display up over the weekend and it looks fabulous! Her things are so darn cute! Custom, personalized children's clothing, baby blankets, hair accessories, tutus, and more!

Windows, Countertops, and Candy Jars

Last week was a week full of exciting little milestones. Most exciting was the day Moe Marketing came out to the store to jazz up our window displays. I cannot say enough good things about these ladies!! They did a fabulous job and were so much fun to work with! I even had a customer stop by yesterday saying, "I know you're not open yet but your windows just drew me in. I have to know when you're opening!" That is so nice to hear! If you're in the need of some fresh marketing ideas, you have to get in touch with Moe Marketing! Very reasonable and worth every penny!

It's All Coming Together

It's been a week since my last post and Laurie and I have been working nonstop to have the store and studio ready to open in April. As we are running out of time, we had no choice but to call in for reinforcements. What would we do without family and free child labor ; )

Wow! Just wow!

I cannot rave enough about Dana Diaz de leon's work! She just finished up the mural in our new space and it is absolutely beautiful and exactly what we wanted. You have to check out her work at www.danascreations.com. Know anyone looking for a custom mural? Send them her way!

Now that the mural is finished, displays and fixtures will be going in this week. Inventory coming in from our fabulously talented local artists next week. Check out their links to the right.

Looks like progress

We have permits! Yay! This may not seem like a big deal but it has been a lengthy process to get to this point! Leave it to Weaver construction is doing a fabulous job and will be finished up by the end of this week. Laurie and I have been working hard behind the scenes to get things ready for the opening in April. Follow us as we continue to keep you posted!

I Am What I Am on Main Street is a local artisan handmade marketplace where you'll find one of a kind and completely unique items handcrafted by local artists including clothing, jewelry, accessories, gifts, sculptures, and so much more.

Located on the trendy north side of Historic Main Street in Downtown St. Charles, it's the perfect way to spend the day. Grab a coffee at Picasso's Coffee House,  enjoy lunch at Llywelyn's Pub, spend the day shopping for unique, one of a kind finds, and then dance the night away at Q Night Club....all within walking distance of I Am What I Am.
